HyoNova and Docusign: product logos in a coordinated 3D comparison cover
On this page

HyoNova Sign is designed for a company that wants to request signatures alongside its customer work, projects and files. Docusign offers a broad agreement platform with eSignature, advanced workflow and Intelligent Agreement Management products. Start with the required signature and evidence level, then compare sending volume, sender seats, workflow and total cost.

Reviewed 28 October 2026. This comparison is published by the HyoNova team using official product and pricing pages. Native features, integrations and paid add-ons are different. “Not documented” means the reviewed sources did not establish a capability, not that it cannot exist. This is not an independent performance benchmark. USD prices exclude tax and can vary by region and commitment.

Signature scope comes before price

HyoNova's published Sign scope is simple electronic signatures (SES), not an advanced or qualified signature service and not a qualified timestamp. Docusign's wider portfolio includes standards-based advanced/qualified options and identity services subject to the relevant offering. Do not assume every Docusign subscription includes those options, or that an email OTP or QR certificate makes every signature type equivalent. Match your document's requirements with the actual product and jurisdiction before choosing.

All Docusign eSignature plans and billing commitments

All three billing choices were checked in the official browser selector. Annual paid monthly is still a 12-month commitment: Personal $132/year, Standard $360/year and Business Pro $540/year. Upfront annual totals are $120/$300/$480. Sending consumes allowance even if the envelope is not completed. Additional envelopes, ID checks, SMS and advanced services can change the quote.

How HyoNova Sign counts a request

One envelope is one signature request, which can include multiple signers without a separate per-signer charge. Welcome requests are 2/10/25 per company once on Free/Basic/Business, not a monthly renewal and not multiplied by employees. Paid packs last 12 months: 25 for $9, 100 for $25, 500 for $89 and 1,000 for $149. Company workspace limits and any paid workspace subscription remain separate.

A fair annual-volume example

For 100 occasional requests over 12 months, HyoNova Sign's 100-request pack is $25; a small eligible company could use a Free workspace, or add its required paid workspace cost. Docusign Standard paid upfront is $300 per sender/year with 100 envelopes, but also includes specific team/template/branding features. If you need bulk send, payment collection, advanced identity or IAM, compare the matching product rather than treating $25 and $300 as identical bundles. Signer count, sender count, completion and unused-volume expiry are different variables.

What changes when the service sits inside the company?

In HyoNova, the same team can prepare the customer work, request a signature and find the signed document in company files. This suits routine internal and customer workflows where SES meets the requirement. Docusign may be the stronger specialist fit for more advanced agreement lifecycles, bulk workflows, identity methods, enterprise integrations or standards-based signatures. Require a demonstration of the exact configuration.

Test before migrating

  • Use a non-sensitive sample PDF and confirm every field, signer and routing order.

  • Open the recipient link on a phone, test email verification, rejection/expiry behavior and the final document.

  • Download the certificate and evidence, verify the QR/public page and confirm who retains access to the stored files.

  • Confirm signature level, required retention, sender permissions and advanced authentication with the relevant product documentation before using a regulated document.

Frequently asked questions

Does a QR code make a signature qualified?

No. A verification page or audit certificate is not itself proof of an advanced/qualified signature or qualified timestamp.

Does every signer require a paid HyoNova seat?

No. External signers do not need an account or employee seat, and multiple signers may share one request.

Are all Docusign plans limited to 100 envelopes/year?

No. That allowance applies to the reviewed Standard/Business Pro annual eSignature plans; Personal, monthly options, custom plans and IAM differ.

Test the entire document trail. Explore HyoNova Sign and start with two company signature requests once on Free, then compare the evidence and workflow against your requirements.
